How a case worksThe difference that decides your case
Short answer In Spain, only a detective holding a TIP licence may lawfully carry out investigative work, and only their signed report can be submitted as evidence in a Spanish court. An unlicensed operator commits intrusismo profesional, and whatever they gather is of no use to your lawyer.
This catches foreign clients out more than anyone. Someone advertising in English from the Costa del Sol may look like the obvious choice, but the qualification that matters is Spanish and it is verifiable: the TIP, issued under Ley 5/2014 and supervised by the Ministry of the Interior.
We work the other way round. You deal with us in English, from the first call to the finished report — and the investigation itself is carried out and signed by a licensed Spanish detective, so the evidence holds. Every case also begins with a legitimacy check: we verify there is a lawful basis before accepting tracing or surveillance work, which protects you as much as it protects us.
